Are my PDF files uploaded to your servers?

No. Our tools use advanced WebAssembly to process your PDF files entirely locally within your web browser's memory. Your files never leave your device.

What is the maximum file size I can split?

Currently, we support PDF files up to 50MB. This limit ensures that the tool does not crash your web browser's memory during processing.

Can I extract multiple specific pages at once?

Yes! In Extract mode, you can click multiple thumbnails to select them. The resulting download will contain exactly the pages you selected, merged into one document.

Does it work on mobile phones?

Yes, the PDF Splitter is fully responsive and optimized for mobile browsers like Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android.

Why did the preview fail to load?

If your PDF is heavily encrypted, corrupted, or uses proprietary features, the browser's PDF engine may struggle to render it. Try resaving the PDF or unlocking it before uploading.
